As high pressure builds over the Western United States, the wind will pick up throughout Montana.

Temperatures will remain a bit chilly on Monday with highs in the mid 30s for most.

Wind will gradually increase as the day plays out.

Gusts in upwards of 30 mph are likely for most of Central Montana with North Central Montana seeing the strongest wind.

Due to the possibility of blowing snow, a Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect tonight for much of Central Montana.

A High Wind Watch will also go into effect for Glacier and Pondera Counties.

Tuesday is expected to offer up more wind throughout Central Montana.

Down-sloping wind will help to boost temperatures this week, eventually reaching the mid to high 40s by Thursday and Friday.
