Hazy skies continue to blanket the treasure state and slightly cooler temperatures settle as we near the weekend.

Highs Friday afternoon are expected to remain in the low to mid 70s for most.

The wind will stay brisk but not nearly as strong as what we experienced on Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the low 70s on Saturday as our next weather system approaches.

This system is expected to pass through the state Saturday night into Sunday morning.

A few shower are possible around Great Falls, however the majority of the moisture is expected to stay to our southwest.

Temperatures will be low enough in the mountains to offer up a few flurries about 6,000 feet.

Temperatures will drop just below average on Sunday following the passage of this system.

Still cooler temperatures will settle in on Monday with highs upper 50s.

Forecast models are suggesting that temperatures will remain in the mid to high 50s through the middle of next week.
