Sunshine is starting to peak out for parts of North Central Montana, bringing some slightly warmer temperatures.

That being said, its still very cold this Friday afternoon.

Looking ahead, it's still going to be pretty cold Saturday, with highs in the lower teens to single digits below zero, with the exception of Helena.

However, the cold air will be lifting away from us Saturday, and we'll see a significant warm up by Sunday!

The warm air won't quite make it to everyone, and Northeast Montana will still be fairly cold, but places like Helena, Great Falls, Cut Bank and Lewistown will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s!

Saturday looks to be a fairly cloudy day, with more sunshine off to the east.

A little light snow will be possible Saturday night, before skies clear nicely on Sunday!

The change in temperatures expected through the weekend may bring changes to ice jams we're tracking in North Central Montana.

Existing jams may break up, and new jams may form.

We'll be watching river levels closely through the weekend and into next week.
