Happy Wednesday everyone! Temperatures will drop down to around 26 degrees with mostly clear skies tonight in Great Falls.
Tomorrow will be a beautiful spring day with plenty of sunshine and temperatures warming up to around 60 degrees! Enjoy tomorrow because winter returns in full force this weekend.
The National Weather Service has included our area in a Winter Storm Watch! There is a possibility of heavy snowfall, gusty winds and cold temperatures.
The National Weather Service in Great Falls says: "A strong cold front is expected to cross the Northern Rockies Friday night, producing winter weather across much of North Central and into Southwest Montana. Wet roads Friday night will turn icy as temperatures fall well below freezing, with snow then accumulating on these surfaces through the day on Saturday. Those with travel plans Friday night through Saturday night should be prepared for slippery and snow covered roads, with reduced visibilities due to blowing snow. In addition to impacts to travel, dangerous conditions will exist this weekend for newborn livestock due to the cold temperatures, wind, and wet nature of the snow."
