Good Thursday afternoon everyone!
We are on tap to stay 5 to 10 degrees tomorrow and even warmer on Saturday.
Helena will see temperatures close to the mid 80s while Great Falls will stay in the low 80s.
Typically we think of calm and sunny weather under a high pressure but there are many things at play for this coming weekend.
Friday will see some isolated showers and thunderstorms for Helena due to the mountains allowing for warm air to rise quicker than the plains, along with temperatures warming up and a disturbance moving with the high pressure.
Some portions of Central and North Central Montana will have a low chance for severe weather on Saturday with the main threats being damaging wind gusts, large hail and frequent lightning.
