After a cloudy start to the week, high pressure has finally built in across the area clearing skies and causing locally breezy conditions.
Heading into the weekend, partly cloudy but blue skies will remain over central Montana.
As the high pressure overhead and the low pressure to our south fight for position, the pressure gradient across the area will tighten causing winds to gust out of the southwest at near 30 mph.
High temperatures on Friday will approach 50F, increasing to the mid 50s by Saturday afternoon.
Increased cloudiness can be expected Sunday afternoon as the next weather maker starts to approach the Treasure state from the southwest.
