Another cold front is on its way.
It's going to start pushing through our area Tuesday.
It will be bringing us snow and cooler temperatures as it does.
The exception will be Helena, where a comfortable, sunny day is expected Tuesday.
Snow showers will start as early as Tuesday morning in North Central Montana, but heavier snow bands will develop in the late afternoon to early evening.
Those bands will last into early Wednesday morning.
This means a slippery commute will be possible both on your way home Tuesday and on your way into work Wednesday.
Snow totals will range from about 1 to 4 inches, with some higher totals near higher terrain.
Northeast Montana will see less snow, and Helena will see nothing more than a few flurries.
Temperatures will be a little cooler for most on Tuesday, but the effects of the front will really be felt on Wednesday, when highs will range from the 20s to lower 30s.
