High pressure will hang on for one more day before releasing its grip on Montana.
Under mostly sunny skies temperatures will reach the low to mid 90s for most of the state on Wednesday.
A healthy cold front is on track to slide into the state late Wednesday night which will significantly cool temperatures on Thursday.
This system will also bring a batch of moisture to Central Montana, likely around a half inch for most of our area through Thursday.
Temperatures will remain much cooler following this system.
