An incoming cold front will allow for a slightly cooler start to the work week.

Temperatures will trend in the high 80s and low 90s on Monday before cooler air move in this afternoon.

A few spotty thunderstorm are likely with the passage of this front.

Some wind is likely with the strongest wind gusts in Northeastern Montana.

A few storms are expected over the mountains near Helena early this afternoon.

From there storms should be the most active from Lewistown east.

Dry and hot conditions will return on Tuesday and stick with us through Thursday.

An incoming area of low pressure is expected to finally break down the existing ridge of high pressure.

This will allow for a weekend in the mid 80s for most.
