Widespread and heavy at times rain will kick off our work week in Central Montana.

Showers will linger through most of the day on Monday before tapering off late this afternoon.

Temperatures will remain in the low to mid 60s for most of the state.

The slight break in the rain is expected to last through Tuesday morning.

A significant rain maker will track our way Tuesday afternoon.

This system will have the capability of producing well over an inch of additional precipitation through Wednesday.

Farm and ranch work will remain challenging and some localized flooding is likely.

Conditions are expected to begin drying up on Thursday.

The work week will wrap up with more sun and temperatures in the mid 70s.
