Clear skies and chilly temperatures will take us through the day Tuesday.

Some wind is expected, however nothing like what we experienced over the weekend, occasional gusts of 30 mph are likely.

Pacific Moisture will begin invading the state overnight, lasting into Friday.

Except for the mountains, most of Central Montana won't see much falling precipitation until Thursday.

The high terrain will catch the brunt of this next system, with areas between 4,000 and 7,000 feet picking up 6 to 12 inches.

Elevations 7,000 feet and above could see up to 24 inches.

The lower elevations are expected to see 1 to 3 inches on average.

Temperatures will remain chilly through the reminder of the week.
