Isolated thunderstorms take us into a new work week

The work week will start our a bit unsettled with isolated thunderstorms Monday afternoon.

High temperatures are expected to reach the low 80s today.

Stronger storms are likely on Tuesday as a cold front pushes through the state.

A strong line of storms is anticipated to kick off between Helena and Great Falls during the middle of the afternoon.

These storms will gain in strength as they track through Central Montana.

Large hail, damaging wind, and heavy rain is likely from Lewistown to Glasgow Tuesday evening.

Temperatures will remain cooler on Wednesday following the passage of these storms.

Daytime high temperatures will begin to rebound on Thursday and are on track to return to the high 80s by the weekend.
