Winds will ramp up and take over more of Central Montana on Friday.

Sustained wind of 25 to 30 mph is likely today.

Occasional gusts in upwards of 70 mph are very possible later this afternoon.

Although a bit cooler, temperatures are expected to remain in the low 50s for most of our area.

Rain and mountain snow is on track to return to our area this weekend.

Showers are anticipated Saturday afternoon, likely lasting into Sunday morning.

Temperatures are expected to cool to the high 40s following this system.

Next week looks to start our dry with temperatures attempting to climb a bit by Tuesday.

Our next weather disturbance is on track to move into the state on Wednesday.
