A band of light snow is set to move through Montana Friday morning.

On average, accumulations are expected to be less than an inch for most.

Helena and Southwestern Montana may see greater accumulations.

The snow will give way to a slightly cooler day compared to Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to remain chilly on Saturday and there will also be a slight possibility of a few spotty flurries.

Sunday will kick off the warm up in Montana with daytime high temperatures reaching the mid to high 30s.

The first half of next week will trend even more mild with highs back in the 40s.
