Isolated storms develop across the North-Central Montana this afternoon and evening.

Some of the stronger storms may produce small hail, brief, heavy downpours, and gusty wind.

We can’t rule out a stray thunderstorm developing closer to the Capital City a little later this afternoon.

Tomorrow a cold front pushes through our area from the West.

We won’t all see the affects of the front Thursday, but we will all feel them.

A slight chance of storms is possible tomorrow afternoon for the Hi-Line and Southeast Montana as the cold front pushes through, but we will all feel the wind after the cold front passes.

Gusts will get up to 30-40 MPH during late morning hours.

Wind gusts diminish overnight into Thursday morning, but widespread thunderstorm and rain chances increase for all the state from Thursday afternoon through the weekend.

Expect most showers and storms to develop through the afternoon hours these next couple of days.
