After a warm start for most of the state, temperatures will reach into the mid 80s and even low 90s this afternoon.
Late afternoon and early evening thunderstorms develop across Central Montana.
A few storms may be stronger and produce small hail, gusty wind, and frequent lightning.
Chances of thunderstorm development increase this tomorrow afternoon and evening, as well.
Tomorrow a cold front moves down from Canada.
This will help give enough energy to trigger another round of those late-day storms across the area.
