A High Wind Advisory goes into effect across the Rocky Mountain Front and East Glacier at noon today until 6 AM Tuesday.

High Wind Warning
High Wind Warning

Gusts in areas that are high wind prone (along the Rockies) could experience up to 75 MPH gusts.

This is because snow will be blowing and drifting across roadways in these windy areas which will reduce visibility.

Something to also keep in mind: blowing/drifting snow will most likely melt on warming roadways and refreeze overnight creating very slick spots.

Overall, we are experiencing the Spring thaw and will most likely be dealing with icy roads for a few weeks due to refreezing.
