More clouds move in through the next few hours, but morning commute temperatures stay mild.

Afternoon temperatures drop slightly from yesterday but will still stay above average.

Isolated showers from this morning will dissipate through midday across the southwest.

More showers return tomorrow and will be more widespread through the state tomorrow afternoon.

Gusty and breezy conditions start picking up today with gusts around 25 MPH in Central Montana with higher gusts along the Hi-Line.

By tomorrow and Saturday, gusts will reach up to 40 MPH in Central Montana and will be even higher across the Rocky Mountain Front.

With isolated showers (which will dry out quickly due to increased wind) and relative humidity staying low, we will increase our fire danger concerns through the end of the weekend, and any fires that are started could get out of control and spread quickly.
