At 856 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported strong winds
associated with a line of thunderstorms extending from near Lolo to
13 miles southeast of Bonner-West Riverside. Movement was north at
35 mph.
Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Missoula, Lolo, Bonner-West Riverside, Wye, Florence, East Missoula
and Turah.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
