A spring snow storm is moving through the forecast area Saturday afternoon into early Sunday morning.
As the front moves through, the winds are gusting to 35mph and wet heavy snow is falling causing limited visibility and nasty road conditions.
The snow will end early Sunday morning and if there is enough clearing, patchy fog can develop before sunrise. Easter Sunday will be a little chilly with high temperatures in the upper 20s with sunny skies.
Temperatures will slowly increase Monday and Tuesday and skies will clear a bit, but another area of low pressure is expected to move through the area on Wednesday. Current forecast snow totals for this storm are less than an inch in the plains and 3-5 inches are forecast for the higher elevations.
