They tell us they are looking into housing for the homeless on the reservation.
We spoke with Eileen Henderson, the public information officer for the Blackfeet COVID-19 Incident Command, and she says they are trying to come up with solutions to help with the demand for housing.
"Currently we don't have a facility to house homeless persons, we do not have a shelter or an overnight stay, so we are relying on people's resources to fill with family connections, their friends, and just reaching out to those individuals to find a place to stay at night, and those are things the council takes into close consideration. They are working every day to find a facility for these individuals who are homeless who may become infected with the coronavirus,"said Henderson.
