St. Peter’s Health has a new president of the medical group.

Doctor Todd Wampler has been a physician at St. Pete’s for 15 years. He has grown in the health care system taking on roles such as Chief of Staff and Director of Ambulatory Services.

In January of 2020, he was elected to serve as President of St. Peter's Health Medical Group. June 1st, 2020 was his first day.

Dr. Wampler says he wishes to improve overall visitor experiences throughout St. Peter’s, especially now that our community faces a pandemic.

“One of the ways that I can contribute most back to the community is to help provide that physician leadership,” says Dr. Wampler, the new St. Peter’s Health President. “Our organization has grown to a size where we really needed to have a physician in leadership, driving that quality, driving that patient experience, so we can provide the best medical care for our community. I think that's the best way for me to give back now.”

St. Peter’s says Dr. Wampler will still see a limited number of patients at the organization’s North Clinic.
