A small private plane crashed Thursday afternoon at Helena Regional Airport while attempting to land, according to Airport Director Jeff Wadekamper.
The landing gear on the nose collapsed while landing, and the plane skidded down the runway to a stop, according to Wadekamper.
Two people were on board, and neither was injured, he said.
The crash happened at the intersection of another runway of a larger airline, which caused flight delays, he said.
This is a developing story. Check back for details.
