ANACONDA — ANACONDA - A pedestrian was killed Friday morning after being hit by a car just east of Anaconda.
The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the incident that occurred just before 5 a.m. on Montana Highway 1 near Landfill Road. A Ford Mustang was traveling south on the highway when it hit a person walking in the roadway, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
MHP released no further details about this incident, according to Public Information Specialist Kylie Gibson.
