Becky Edwards, the Executive Director of the Mountain Mamas stopped by Montana this Morning to tell us about exciting legislature for full funding of Land and Water Conservation Fund that Senator Daines and Senator Tester are backing and looking to get passed.
Mountain Mamas started as a passion project about 7 years ago by a group of MT women, advocating for conservation and recreation.
The LWCF would pay for 75 percent of MT's fishing access sites, more than 600 parks, playgrounds and fields. It also maintains our generational ranches through conservation easements among many other things.
