Montana’s unemployment rate held steady at 3.3% in September while the U.S. unemployment rate fell 0.2 percentage points to 3.5%.
Total employment, which includes agricultural, payroll and self-employed workers, indicated a gain of 238 jobs, while the labor force grew by 345, according the Montana Department of Labor and Industry.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed people in the Treasure State increased by 107 people.
