A woman died after she was hit by a vehicle Thursday night in Mineral County.
Montana Highway Patrol Dispatch reported a 46-year-old man was driving west on De Borgia Haugan Frontage Road when his vehicle went off the right side of the road.
The vehicle struck a 39-year-old woman from Idaho who was walking along the road, killing her.
The incident was reported just before 9 p.m. on Thursday.
It happened several miles west of Superior in the small town of De Borgia.
The name of the woman has not yet been released.
The MHP is continuing to investigate.
