Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office searching for suspect in alleged kidnapping

(UPDATE, 11:51 pm) Roosevelt County Sheriff Jason Frederick says that the child has been recovered by deputies and is safe with law enforcement. He thanked everyone that called in with information.

No other details have been released at this point; we will update you if we get more information.



(1st Report, 9:12 pm, Thursday) The Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate Agnes Buckles (aka Agnes Little) in connection with the kidnapping of an infant on Thursday in Wolf Point.

According to the Sheriff's Office, at about 3 p.m., Buckles allegedly took the child in Wolf Point and left in an unknown direction.

She was last seen driving a white 2007 Dodge Caravan with Montana license plate CRF716.

Buckles is 57 years old with brown eyes and long brown hair. She is approximately 5' 6" tall and weighs about 130 pound.

No other information has been released at this point.

If you have any information on her whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Sheriff's Office immediately by calling 911.

They caution that Buckles should not be approached.

The Sheriff's Office says that an AMBER Alert will be issued shortly.
