Mail service suspended Wednesday in eastern Montana due to cold weather

The U.S. Postal Service announced that mail delivery will be suspended in eastern Montana Wednesday due to very cold temperatures.

No collection will be made from businesses, boxes, residential or commercial areas, the post office said Tuesday.

A Postal Service representative could not confirm the exact region of eastern Montana for the mail blackout Wednesday.

Retail operations will be available, but limited.

Parts of eastern Montana are forecasted to see wind chill push temperatures near 35 degrees below zero.

A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect through Wednesday morning for parts of northeastern Montana.
