BILLINGS – A Billings-area man died after he was hit by a car Saturday night.
According to Billings Police Sergeant Clyde Reid, at around 8 p.m., a man with dark clothing was crossing Central Avenue where there was not a designated crosswalk.
A minivan with a family inside was traveling west when it struck the man.
According to Reid, when first responders arrived at the scene, the man was unresponsive and CPR was attempted.
Police blocked off all traffic on Central Avenue between North 24th and 25th Street West for several hours as crash scene investigators were on scene.
He added the identity of the man cannot be released at this time.
