High pressure will be the main talking point over the next few days.

This will keep conditions hot and dry into the weekend.
Temperatures will trend in the mid to upper 80s for most of the state.
Isolated thunderstorms remain a possibility on Saturday and Sunday however nothing widespread is expected.
The fire danger will be heightened this weekend due to low humidity levels and breezy conditions.
The dry and hot weather is expected to stick around through the middle of this next week.
