A few spotty showers will take us through the first portion of this week.

Lingering moisture associated with a passing area of low pressure will continue to impact Montana on Monday and Tuesday.

The heaviest rain and strongest storms are expected to remain in south central Montana.

High pressure will help to bump temperatures on Wednesday.

This pressure system will hang around through the remainder of the week.

Spotty afternoon thunderstorms are not out of the question; however, the remainder of the week is trending dry.

Winds are expected to kick up on Thursday.

This combined with low humidity levels will greatly increase the fire danger as we near the weekend.
