Extreme cold will continue to increase the newborn livestock threat in Northeastern Montana.

Wind chill temperatures in this region are expected to be around 30 to 40 below zero.

Snow will return Thursday evening.

Most of Central and Eastern Montana should only pick up between two and three inches through Friday night.

Greater accumulations are expected in Northwestern Montana.

Heavier snow is expected to move in on Saturday.

This system looks to pack more of a punch that the last two have.

Forecast models are all over the charts with expected accumulations.

We’ll work on narrowing these down on Friday.
