The next wave of snow is expected to move in Friday night into Saturday morning.
According to the latest USDA Crop Progress Report, corn for grain harvest was 64 percent complete, which falls slightly behind the 5-year average.
Winter wheat emerged was 83 percent complete, slightly behind the 5-year average of 89 percent.
