The decision means that the Sheriff’s Office will not be featured on upcoming episodes.

The show featured one of their search and rescue call-outs where authorities were able to locate an 80-year-old hunter was lost in the woods.

The Sheriff’s Office was also able to profile missing persons and unsolved cases to a national audience. They also introduced our area to a national audience.

Bassett says they believe the program has strengthened the Sheriff’s Office’s relationships with the public and they look forward to the opportunity to work with the show in the future.
