Enterprise Truck Rental has opened in Missoula at 7910 Thornton Drive — its first-ever shop in western Montana.

The regional center will serve not only Missoula, but many of Montana’s cities, including Helena, Butte, Kalispell and Great Falls, plus sections of northern Idaho, said spokeswoman Sarah Addison.

The Missoula Enterprise Truck Rental location provides cargo vans, box trucks and tow-capable pickup trucks for business and personal use. The Missoula team currently has three full-time employees – one branch manager, one account specialist and a vehicle service agent.

Enterprise Truck Rental is an offshoot of Enterprise Rent-A-Car , a transportation business for more than 60 years. In 2019 alone, according to the company, Enterprise Truck Rental opened 36 new branch locations.

As the business continues to grow throughout the western Montana region, more employees will be hired to help meet customers’ needs, according to the company.

Ryan Reddick, who recently relocated from the Billings office to Missoula to become branch manager, earned his stripes within the Enterprise Rent-A-Car management training program.

“Our main objective with opening in Missoula,” said Reddick, “is to continue to provide the excellent service, selection and convenience that has become affiliated with the Enterprise Truck Rental brand. As we grow and develop this market, we hope to create a great reputation and meet the needs of local customers.”

The new office opened recently on a two-acre lot “to better serve a widening clientele and growing company,” according to Derrick Hartse, Enterprise Group Truck regional manager.

“Over time, we’ve seen an increasing demand for commercial grade trucks from customers in western Montana, as well as a need to grow our operating footprint throughout the region,” said Hartse.

“Our new truck rental branch in Missoula allows us to better serve customers, and to provide reliable and convenient truck rental solutions to a large base of customers who previously had little to no options.”

Helping boost careers is another Enterprise mission and purpose in opening the new “one-stop shop.”

The company touts the Enterprise Rent-A-Car management training program, which teaches employees how to run a business, empowers teams and provides excellent face-to-face customer service.

The Missoula branch opening is part of what the company says is Enterprise Truck Rental’s “ ongoing growth strategy to provide short- and long-term transportation solutions to customers throughout North America.”

In the last decade, Enterprise Truck Rental has reportedly tripled its number of locations from 100 in 2007 to more than 350 today throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico .

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has more than 5,800 fully staffed neighborhood and airport branch offices — one located within 15 miles of 90% of the U.S. population.

Branch hours at the two-acre lot follow: open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; it is closed on Sunday.
