One man died after an SUV crashed and caught fire late Wednesday night.
The accident on Interstate 94 near Ballantine happened shortly before 11 p.m.
According to Montana Highway Patrol, the SUV was traveling westbound when it went off the right side of the road.
It hit a dirt embankment and went airborne.
The SUV came to rest on the driver’s side on East I Road.
The vehicle then caught fire and quickly became engulfed in flames.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene.
Alcohol, drugs or speed are not suspected in this accident.
The man’s name, age, or home state, city have not been released.
