With Governor Bullock's shelter in place order, non-essential businesses will be closing their doors.

Those include such businesses as salons and barber shops.

We spoke to Laura George, owner of Sugar Salon in Helena.

She says they can afford to be closed for only one month.

After that, she's unsure if her salon would be able to recover.

She urged her clients and clients of her other stylists who work at the salon to support each other during this difficult time.

"I am also suggesting for your hair stylist, if you can afford it, it would be really nice to call them up and buy a gift certificate through them, through this hard time," said George.

Laura says they will continue selling hair products and they will be delivering to anyone who places an order.
