3 inducted into Montana Business Hall of Fame

Passion, hard work, helping people. Just some of the good words from three people inducted into the Montana Business Hall of Fame at the Northern Hotel on Wednesday night.

The MSU Billings Hall honored successful business leaders in Montana at the annual banquet.

The group includes:

  • Marilyn Bartlett, a CPA who served an an administrator for the Health Care and Benefits with the Montana Department of Administration.

  • George Selover, a car dealer owner and philanthropist in Billings.

  • Larry Simkins, President and CEO of the Washington Companies in Missoula.

Those in the hall can be good inspiration for business students.

"They're all legends in their own right,” said Dr. Dan Edelman, MSUB Chancellor. “They're all super people. They've done a lot for community. They put others before themselves. They lead by example. They're hard workers and they're all ethical people. I'm really impressed by that and I hope our students can see that and I hope they carry on the tradition."

The banquet also is a fundraiser for scholarships for MSUB students.
