Rocky Mountain Development Council has closed all group meals at Senior Centers in Helena, Broadwater and Jefferson County out of concerns for the novel coronavirus.
The non-profit says Meals on Wheels will operate as normal and in some cases will offer some pickup or delivery to homes if necessary.
The suspension is effective Sunday, March 15th until further notice.
All activities at the Helena Senior Center have also been suspended and Rocky is encouraging rural senior sites and contractors in Gallatin and Meagher Co. to do the same.
