On September 24-26, the Billings Hotel & Convention Center in Billings will celebrate the 51st annual Governor’s Conference on Aging .

The Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) wants to honor Montana Centenarians.

Centenarians will be honored and recognized for their longevity with a special banquet beginning Tuesday evening.

DPHHS is asking Montanans who will be turning 100 as of December 31, 2019, or those who are currently over 100 to submit some brief information here .

All Centenarians who submit information will receive a recognition proclamation from Governor Steve Bullock.

Jon Elbert, Public Information Officer for the DPPHS stated, “we're reaching out to Montanans, Montana centenarians to send us their basic information so they can give us information about the event, and it's a way to honor them and to just kind of celebrate their lives and honor them and hear from them, and hear about their stories.”

The 2018 DPHHS list shows that there are 41 current Centenarians that reached 100 by December this year.
