HELENA — Girls flag football scored a touchdown in the Capital City.
The Helena Public Schools Board of Trustees voted 6-0 April 14 to add girls flag football at Helena High School and Capital High School beginning this fall.
Before last week’s vote, Helena and Capital were Montana’s only two Class AA schools yet to add the sport.
Now the Bengals and Bruins will join Class A East Helena and Class B Jefferson as schools that offer girls flag football.
