Woman charged with leaving 4 kids in a freezing vehicle while she gambled

Danielle Jo Two Two has been charged with endangering the welfare of children and possession of dangerous drugs.

Police in Manhattan say she left her four children in a pickup truck in freezing temperatures while she was in a casino early Saturday.

Police documents indidate that officers were called to the Broken Arrow Bar & Casino in the in Manhattan at around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. Officers found two children inside a pickup truck with a woman who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The truck was not running, and there was no heat inside.

The police documents indicate that the outside temperature at the time was between 3 and 5 degrees (above zero). The woman was identified as Thyra Redfox; she is currently on probation for criminal endangerment.

Officers then found two more children who were in the bed of the pickup truck, inside the topper shell. The four children ranged in age from 13 to 5 years old.

An officer went inside the casino and found TwoTwo gambling at a machine. She reportedly told the officer that she had gone inside to use the restroom, and told the officer that she was on probation in Missoula and did not have permission to travel.

Inside the pickup truck, officers found a metallic container with a substance that tested positive for meth.

Two Two is facing four counts of criminal child endangerment, and one count of criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute.

According to the Montana Department of Corrections, Two Two has a felony conviction for theft in Yellowstone County, and at the time of the incident was listed as being on conditional release in Gallatin County.
