A 31-year-old Helena man is accused of assaulting a woman with a BB gun and holding her captive.
Dylan Michael Ford-Briere appeared via video in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court Wednesday afternoon.
Court documents state police were dispatched to a residence on the 1400 block of Sanders Avenue on Tuesday for a report of domestic violence.
The woman told officers she had gotten into an argument with Ford the previous night and he threatened to shoot her in the face with a BB gun and that he hit her in the head with the butt of the gun.
According to the police report, the woman told officers she was not allowed to leave Ford’s side and that at one point he forced her to undress.
Ford has been charged with felony aggravated kidnapping, felony assault with a weapon, and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
His bond was set at $75,000.
