ExplorationWorks in Helena announced it would temporarily close to help prevent the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.
The closure is effective Monday March 16th until further notice.
In an email, Executive Director Kelly Posewitz says, "It is with a heavy heart that I share that ExplorationWorks will be temporarily closing, effective immediately. First and foremost, it is the right thing to do and secondarily, as both a formal and informal education center, we are obligated to close under the Governor’s decision to close all K-12 schools. We will reopen once we can be certain that we have done everything we can to minimize the risk to our guests, staff and volunteers and the community."
Exploration will post video on its social media pages and on YouTube for educators and families who can visit the facility.
