Tracking rain & rumbles

Posted

Showers have already moved into Montana, and we expect a few of those to develop into weak thunderstorms.

These storms will produce some lightning, brief heavy rain, and maybe even some very small hail.

There is no threat for severe weather expected with these storms.

The best chance for storms will be early Friday evening.

Looking into Saturday, we’re expecting clearing skies through the day.

High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

We will see winds pick up, with gusts up to 30 miles per hour possible, and even stronger winds along the Rocky Mountain Front.

By Saturday evening a few more rain showers move back in.
