Light snow is falling across Montana Wednesday afternoon, and it’s intensity will pick up slightly into the evening.
In general, only light snow is expected to fall.
The heaviest snow is expected in and south of Great Falls, where totals could reach 2 to 4 inches.
An additional inch is possible in Helena.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect.
Snow will last as late at Thursday morning.
From there skies will begin to clear.
Highs Thursday will be a bit cooler, in the single digits to mid teens.
