Our mild weather is coming to an end.
Highs will still be in the 40s and 50s for Saturday, but an arctic cold front will cause temperatures drop sharply Saturday night.
Highs on Sunday will occur at midnight, and by the afternoon temperatures will be in the single digits, possibly even below zero!
The cold will coincide with heavy snow moving through the state.
Snow will begin Saturday evening, with periods of snow lasting all the way into Monday.
Widespread accumulations of more than 5 inches are expected.
See the attached video for a more detailed snow forecast.
Because of the incoming winter weather, various Watches, Warnings, and Advisories are in effect.
Plan accordingly and be safe this weekend.
