A cold front continues to advance south through the region this evening.
The front brings in rain/snow mix and gusty northwesterly winds.
Alerts from the National Weather Service:
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 11 AM on Monday for locations including: Lewistown, Lewistown Divide, Winifred, Grass Range, Great Falls, Cascade, Belt, Kings Hill Pass, Raynesford, Stanford, Hobson and the Little Belts in Meagher County.
Plan on slippery road conditions in these areas and reduced visibilities at times due to the combination of blowing/ drifting snow.
High Wind Warning’s remain in effect as well for Blaine, Judith Basin and Fergus counties through 5 PM this evening.
Sustained winds in this area will be between 30-40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.
Strong winds could blow down limbs, trees and power lines. Isolated power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult at times.
A High Wind Warning is also in effect for the following counties through 5 AM Monday: Central and Southeast Phillips-Central and Southern Valley-
Southwest Phillips-Northern Valley-Eastern Roosevelt.
Cooler air sticks around on Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures in the 20s and overnight low temperatures in the single digits and teens.
Mid to end of the work week temperatures start to rebound back above average.
