The death of a man on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation is being investigated, the FBI said on Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as 41-year old Patrick Wayne Mitchell.
Two men and two women have been arrested and are now in the custody of the Fort Peck Tribal Police.
Mitchell was killed in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 1st, according to the FBI.
Authorities have not released information about the manner or cause of his death.
The names of the suspects have not yet been released.
The murder happened in Poplar, but federal authorities did not state where specifically.

Errol Longee and Angela Longee pleaded not guilty to one count each of murder; Tamara Red Eagle is charged with one count of complicity to murder; Darren Simons pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to murder on Monday before a tribal judge.
